Ready to Rent is the first step to finding decent housing!
This is your chance to learn how to be a good renter and to overcome and understand financial issues related to credit, budgeting and financial literacy. Topics include setting goals; choosing an appropriate home; fixing credit problems; prioritizing bill paying; creating a spending plan; knowing fair housing rules; keeping your information safe and handy, knowing how to read the 'fine print' in lease agreements; maintaining your homes and being a good neighbor.
A certificate is awarded when you complete the class. Additional points are awarded to participants who wish to find housing with NeighborWorks New Horizons when they complete our program.
Class size is limited - so please preregister for a class.
