76 Golfers joined us for a FUN and EXCITING tournament at Orange HIlls Country Club. The sun was out, and the golfers rejoiced after two weeks of rain. It was the perfect day to enjoy early autumn in Connecticut! NeighborWorks New Horizons enrichment programs received a healthy boost!
NWNH staff recently traveled to Guayaquil, Ecuador and helped to provide strategic planning consultation to the Mi Cometa Foundation which works to make a neighborhood known as “El Guasmo”, a better place to live through its educational programs as well as their “Autoconstruccion” program. Staff participated in workshops and worked with families who have benefited from Mi Cometa's services. View pictures from the October 2010 visit!
